I credit my parents as the source of my work ethic and dedication.  My father, Larry, was a tenured ISU professor and published author. My mother, Lois, was a top Ames area Realtor for over 30 years.  They were a beautiful example of a driven, power parenting team.  I was especially moved by how my mother so gracefully managed both work and family, with strength and care, at a time when most women stayed at home.

After graduating from Iowa State University, I chose to make Ames my permanent home, with the family and friends I hold dear.  The community's lush parks, nationally ranked school system, wide range of business and dining options, as well as the friendly people here, make Ames the perfect place to live, work, thrive and raise a family.
